Brewing bliss

Brewing Bliss is a brunch cafe at 40 Lakeside Boulevard, inside the Cardinia Cultural Centre, with outdoor tables overlooking Lakeside Park's water. Dogs are welcome in the outdoor area, and the lakeside paths right alongside make it easy to fold in a walk.

The dog setup. Dogs are welcome in the outdoor dining area overlooking the lake, with space for a well-behaved dog to settle beside your table. You can reach the outdoor seating straight off the walking paths around the cultural centre. Water bowls are often provided, but pack a portable bowl to be sure.

Good to know. The cafe is known for well-presented brunch plates, rotating weekly specials, French toast and smoothies, plus affordable high teas. The waterfront outlook is the draw, so it suits a relaxed sit-down.

Getting there. Ample parking is available at the Cardinia Cultural Centre car park, just off the main Pakenham roads.

Nearby with the dogs. Lakeside Park's flat, scenic walking paths run right past the cafe, ideal for an on-leash loop before or after brunch.
