Meelup Dairy is the casual, walk-up side of Meelup Farmhouse in Naturaliste, a takeaway window for coffee, milkshakes and artisan ice cream that also gives you access to the property's lawns and hobby farm. It's the low-key option if you want a quick treat with the dog rather than a full sit-down meal.
Dog access. Dogs are welcome on the outdoor lawn area in the warmer months (November to April), on lead at all times. They are not permitted inside any building, on the dining deck, or on furniture. Keep dogs clear of the farm animals, including the Highland cows, alpacas and chickens, and never leave a dog tied up unattended.
Good to know. The Dairy serves coffee, milkshakes, house-made treats and local ice cream, plus animal feed if you want to visit the farm animals. It typically closes over winter (May to September), so confirm it's open before making the drive. Bring your own water bowl, as a dedicated dog water station isn't advertised.

Getting there. The property is at 54 Sheens Road, Naturaliste, about an eight-minute drive from Dunsborough. The final stretch is along an unsealed dirt road. Free on-site parking is available.
Go early on a warm-season weekday if you want the lawn to yourselves, and check the seasonal opening dates before you set off in winter. Meelup Beach and Meelup Regional Park are close by for a walk afterwards, but note dogs are not permitted within the regional park itself, so confirm on-lead beach access separately before you go.
