Limestone Coast Pantry MG

Limestone Coast Pantry MG is part cafe, part regional produce store, set up in the old Mount Gambier Woollen Mill on Harrald Street. The kitchen works through local Limestone Coast produce: an all-day cafe menu out front, gourmet take-home meals in the cabinet, and shelves of preserves, relishes and jams to carry out the door. Dogs are welcome in the outdoor seating, and locals rate it as one of the more genuinely dog-friendly stops in town.

The dog setup

Dogs settle beside the table in the outdoor area, which is spaced out enough for a dog to lie down without being underfoot. The big industrial-style dining room inside is people only, so this is an outside-table stop in every season the weather allows. Hours are 9am to 4pm seven days, but the kitchen wraps up around 2:30pm, so late arrivals are better off ordering from the cabinet than expecting a full menu. The take-home meals make it an easy dinner solution if you are travelling with your dog and staying nearby.
