La Veera Cafe

La Veera Cafe is a recently renovated neighbourhood cafe at the Lyons Shops, 12 Burnie St, opposite the oval. With free parking directly out the front and a sunny outdoor setting, it is a practical stop for brunch or a post-walk coffee.

Dog access. Dogs are welcome at the outdoor footpath and courtyard tables in front of the cafe. They are not permitted inside the main seating area, as is standard for ACT cafes. Staff often provide water bowls. The outdoor space is relatively open to the walkway, so keep your dog on a short leash.

Known for. Excellent coffee and substantial brunch options, including B&E rolls, burgers and eggs Benedict. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed, and the kitchen serves breakfast, brunch and lunch seven days a week.

Getting there & parking. A paved car park sits directly in front of the Lyons Shops with free, ample parking. Access from the car park to the outdoor seating is flat and easy.
