Coffee at Jude's

Coffee at Jude's was a small community cafe in the corner shopfront of Parkside Plaza on Bamford Lane, Kirwan, on Townsville's northern side. It opened in March 2024 and built a local following fast: regulars praised the coffee, the eggs benedict and the cheesecake, and reviews repeatedly called out the owner and staff by name for friendly service. Trading hours were Monday to Friday from 7am to 4pm and Saturday from 7:30am to 2pm, closed Sundays.

Trading status

The business was put on the market through Beyond 2000 Business Sales with an asking price of $129,000, and the listing is now marked sold. Its Uber Eats storefront closed on 27 February 2026. We can't confirm a cafe still trading under the Coffee at Jude's name at Shop 11, so treat this page as a record of the venue and check the plaza before making a special trip: the shopfront may have reopened under new ownership or a new name.

The dog setup while it traded

Dogs were welcome at the undercover outdoor tables at the front of the cafe, right off the plaza walkway, with a flat, step-free approach from the car park. Staff would bring out a water bowl on request. There was no dedicated dog menu, but the food side leaned classic cafe: eggs benedict, toasties, chicken and cheese melts, and a cabinet of cheesecakes beside the espresso machine.
