The short version. Lounge Room is a cosy cafe and wood-fired pizza bar in the Kingsborough Village precinct, a short walk back from the Kingston Foreshore. Coffee and pastries in the morning, 9-inch pizzas and drinks later in the day, with dog-friendly seating outside.

The dog setup. Dogs are welcome in the outdoor courtyard and footpath area, set in the pedestrian-friendly Kingsborough hub. Bring your own water bowl to be safe, as one is not guaranteed.

Good to know. Mornings run on ONA coffee, toasties and pastries; from Wednesday to Sunday the kitchen adds evening service with wood-fired pizza, local wine and tap beer. Hours vary by day, roughly 7am starts with evening sessions later in the week, so check before an after-dark visit.

Getting there. The address is 10/19 Parbery Street. Street parking around Parbery Street and the surrounding Kingsborough streets is limited, and the easiest approach is on foot from the foreshore.

Nearby with the dog. The walkable Kingsborough Village paths sit right outside, the Kingston Foreshore is close for a lakeside stretch, and Norgrove Park is near for a quick run before or after a meal.
