It is a morning operation by design: weekdays from 6am to 12:30pm, Saturday 8am to noon, closed Sunday. Dogs are welcome at the outdoor seating, and the compact footprint makes it a quick coffee stop rather than a long sit.

The outdoor area is modest, which is honest about the venue's size: a couple of tables where a dog can settle beside you while you drink. Staff are warm toward dogs and regulars bring them often. There is no formal water station, so bring a bowl if you plan to stay longer than a takeaway order. For a dog that likes calm over crowds, a weekday mid-morning table is the easy ask.

The focus is quality coffee: batch brew, a rotating matcha, and a short fresh menu geared to takeaway, with the avo on toast with chilli and the cheese toastie drawing regular mentions. The team's friendly, genuine service gets as much praise as the beans. If you want a long brunch with the dog, this is the wrong tool; if you want a properly good flat white before work, it is exactly the right one.

Wentworth Avenue carries commuter parking at the kerb, and it gets competitive through the morning peak, so allow a few extra minutes or come after 9am when the pressure eases.
