The Fox & Brew

The Fox & Brew is the contemporary cafe at 92A Urana Street, right on Jindera's main street, and it has quickly become the town's table to beat: Tripadvisor ranks it first among Jindera restaurants, and reviewers from Albury, Wangaratta and beyond keep making the drive. For dog owners, the setup is simple: dogs are welcome at the outdoor tables on the street side.

Dogs join you in the outdoor seating, with the cafe interior reserved for ordering and dining without a lead in the room. The tables look over Urana Street, which suits a settled dog who likes watching the town go by. Dog-specific amenities are not confirmed, so bring your own water bowl, and in the Murray summer heat pick the shaded table rather than the sunny one.

Jindera sits about 15 minutes north of Albury, and the cafe is on the main street with free parking straight out front and off-street spots nearby if the front bays are taken. It is an easy stop on the drive between Albury and the Riverina.
