Harley's @ Husky

Harley's @ Husky is a relaxed, family-run cafe at 51 Owen Street, on the main strip in the middle of Huskisson. It opens 6:30am to 3pm daily, which makes it the natural bookend for a Jervis Bay day: coffee before the beach, or a late sandwich on the way home. It is genuinely happy to have dogs along, and the outdoor tables are set up for exactly that.

The dog setup

Dogs are welcome at the outdoor tables, a sunny, casual area that suits a leashed dog parked beside your chair while you eat. Staff are friendly toward pets and water is usually on hand, but on busy mornings a travel bowl is the safer bet. The strip is flat and calm enough for even a novice cafe dog to settle.

Worth knowing

The kitchen earns its following with bacon and egg rolls, acai bowls, banh mi and gourmet deli sandwiches, backed by Seven Mile Coffee and solid vegetarian and vegan options. Hours can shift with the seasons, so if you are planning a very early start outside peak season, check before you commit. It is a walk-in place; there is no booking dance to worry about.

Getting there and parking

Free street parking runs along Owen Street, but it fills fast in peak season and school holidays, so arrive early or walk from wherever you are staying. Most of Huskisson's central accommodation and the foreshore are an easy stroll away.

Close by with the dogs

The Huskisson foreshore path is a short stroll for a post-coffee walk, and Huskisson to Vincentia Shared Path extends it into a proper morning out. The town's dog beach section is close by too; confirm current off-leash times on the Shoalhaven Council signage before the lead comes off.
