Getting there. It is on Collins Street, central and easy to walk to from most CBD hotels or the waterfront. Street parking on Collins is limited and short-stay metered, so the Argyle Street parking nearby or simply walking in tends to work better.

Nearby with the dog. Franklin Square is a short walk for a quick green break, Constitution Dock and the waterfront are about five minutes on foot, and the Queens Domain offers more room for a proper run a little further out.

Best on a weekday mid-morning once the early rush thins. A grab-and-walk stop rather than a place to linger with a dog.
