ToTi Co. is one of the more unusual stops on Beaumont Street: a small shop that mashes up Byron Bay organic coffee, hemp oils and skincare, and a boutique retail corner, all within a few doors of Hamilton Station. What makes it worth a detour with your dog is that this is one of the few places on the strip where dogs are regularly invited inside the shop itself, not just parked at a footpath table.

The dog setup

Dogs are welcome in-store, on a lead, and the staff have a habit of greeting them properly, often with hemp-based treats from the shelf stock. The treat jar runs to beef liver and even cricket protein options, but supply varies day to day, so treat it as a bonus rather than a ration. There is limited seating out the front on Beaumont Street if you would rather sit outside with a coffee, and the shop is compact, so it works best with a dog that settles calmly around people and other animals.

Worth knowing

This is a quick stop rather than a long brunch. The coffee is Byron Bay roasted, the retail side covers hemp oils, balms and health products, and the vibe is small-business casual, with the occasional surfboard repair happening in the background. Hours run Monday to Friday 8am to 2:30pm, Saturday 8am to 12:30pm, and it is closed Sundays, so plan your visit around a weekday morning walk.

Getting there and parking

The shop sits at 92 Beaumont Street, an easy walk from Hamilton Station. Metered parking along Beaumont Street gets busy through the day; if the strip is full, side streets like Donald Street and Murray Street usually offer free time-limited parking a short walk away.

Make a day of it

For a proper run before or after coffee, the fenced space at Old Shoreline Park Fenced Dog Park and Hamilton Dog Park are both close by. If you want to make a full morning of it, Horseshoe Beach is Newcastle's off-leash dog beach, about ten minutes by car.
