ToTi Co.

ToTi Co. is a mash-up of specialty coffee, hemp health products, and a genuinely dog-friendly boutique on Beaumont Street, and it stands out from the strip's other cafes by welcoming dogs inside the shop itself.

The setup. Dogs are often invited in-store, not just tolerated on the footpath, which is unusual for this stretch of Hamilton. Limited seating out front on Beaumont Street also works fine for a dog on lead. Staff hand out hemp-based treats, including beef liver and cricket protein options, though supply varies day to day so do not rely on it as a meal replacement.

Getting there. It is at 92 Beaumont Street, within easy walking distance of Hamilton Station. Metered parking on Beaumont Street gets busy, side streets like Donald Street or Murray Street usually have free time-limited parking if the strip is full.

Learmonth Park is a short drive away for a proper walk afterwards, and Newcastle's leash-free beaches, Horseshoe Beach among them, are about ten minutes by car if you want to make a full morning of it.
