The Laughing Lark Cafe

The Laughing Lark is a relaxed all-day breakfast and brunch cafe in the Clyde Street Mall, just off the Bayside Shopping Centre. It's a genuinely dog-welcoming stop in the middle of town, complete with complimentary pup cups.

The dog setup. Dogs are welcome in the undercover outdoor seating right in front of the cafe in the pedestrian mall. Indoor dining is people-only, as is standard. The staff are happy to sort a pup cup, though it's worth bringing your own water bowl on a warm day.

Good to know. The kitchen is known for all-day breakfast and good coffee in a no-frills, comfortable setting, and the venue is licensed. The mall position makes it an easy break during a shopping run.

Getting there. It's in the Clyde Street Mall, a short walk from the main Frankston retail strip and Frankston Station. The easiest parking is the undercover Bayside Shopping Centre car park next door.

Open Monday to Friday from 7am and weekends from 8am, closing at 3pm. Frankston foreshore and the pier are a short walk away for a stroll afterwards.
