His & Hers cafe

His & Hers Cafe is a cosy, affordable local spot on the Princes Highway in Corrimal, and one of the more genuinely dog-friendly cafes in the area, welcoming dogs both indoors and out.

Dog setup. Dogs are welcome at outdoor footpath tables and inside the cafe itself, which is unusual for the strip. Water bowls are kept out for thirsty visitors, and there is a jar of dog treats on the counter for well-behaved customers. Keep dogs on a lead and settled by your table, especially if you are seated inside.

Known for. Reasonably priced coffee and food, a strong vegetarian and vegan menu, and a warm welcome for dogs, regulars mention the pats as much as the coffee. Bacon and egg rolls, brekkie burgers and banana bread are local favourites.

Getting there and parking. The cafe is at 313 Princes Hwy, Corrimal. Free street parking is available on Meadow Street and other side streets running parallel to the highway, which is usually easier than trying for a spot directly out front.

Nearby with the dogs. Corrimal Memorial Park is a short walk or drive away for a leg-stretch afterwards, and the Corrimal and Bellambi coastline is a short drive east if you want to make a longer outing of it. Check current Wollongong Council signage for on-leash and off-leash zones.

Weekday mornings are the calmest time to bring a dog inside, weekends get busy with the breakfast crowd. Good for owners who want an actual indoor seat with their dog rather than just a footpath table.
