What visitors mention
The short version. The Little Kitchen is a small brunch cafe at 275 Arden St, near the northern end of Coogee Beach. Dogs go on the footpath seating out the front, which makes it a handy coffee stop on a beach walk.
The dog setup. The dog-friendly area is the footpath tables directly in front. Indoors is for people and assistance dogs only. Staff are welcoming and water bowls are usually about, but the name is honest: it is a little space, so the outdoor seating can be tight when it is busy. Best suited to a calm dog that will tuck in beside you.
Good to know. Open seven days, roughly 6am to 2pm, a touch later on weekends. It is known for solid coffee and brunch plates like avocado on toast and baked eggs, and it tends to feel calmer than the main Coogee Bay Road strip.
Getting there. Street parking on Arden St and the side streets is competitive on weekends. Buses run along Arden St and nearby Coogee Bay Road.
Make a morning of it. The coastal path is a few minutes away, and the Coogee to Bondi walk starts nearby (on-leash). Come early on a weekend if you want a footpath table with room for the dog.
