Brew Kiosk

Brew Kiosk is a compact ground-floor coffee kiosk at 9 Help Street in the Chatswood CBD, a short walk from Chatswood Station, pouring Supreme Coffee from early until the middle of the day, weekdays only. Seating is casual outdoor footpath seating right beside the kiosk, which makes it a straightforward grab-a-coffee stop mid-walk rather than a sit-down brunch destination.

The dog setup

Dogs are welcome at the outdoor seating by the kiosk entrance, on lead and close by while you order and drink. There is no dog menu and no guaranteed water bowls at a setup this small, so carry your own water. The window of opportunity is narrow by design: the kiosk trades 7:30am to 2:30pm Monday to Thursday and 7:30am to 2pm Friday, and closes entirely on weekends, with breakfast served until 11:30am and lunch from 11:30am.

The coffee and food

The coffee is the draw, with the sticky chai and matcha lattes getting their own following alongside hot chocolate, and the food side covers brekkie muffins, chicken and avocado toasties, fresh wraps, sandwiches and rotating baked goods. The kiosk also lists on Too Good To Go, so end-of-day pastries sometimes go cheap if you time it right. Staff are quick and friendly, which suits a kiosk: order, wait a few minutes with the dog on the footpath, keep moving.

Close by with the dogs

Ferndale Park is the closest green escape, though note the leash rules: under Willoughby City Council, dogs are off-leash only on the grassed area adjacent to Dalrymple Avenue and must stay on lead everywhere else, including the bushland tracks that protect resident wildlife like powerful owls. The Dalrymple Avenue entry puts you right at that grassed patch, and Chatswood Unleashed dog exercise area is the other dedicated option nearby.
