Cafe 63 Southtown is the Centenary Heights arm of the Cafe 63 family, sitting on South Street with the kind of long hours most cafes can only dream about: 5:30am to 9pm, seven days. For dog owners the useful part is the outdoor seating area, which is a proper dog-friendly zone rather than a grudging allowance.

The dog setup

Dogs are welcome at the outdoor tables, and the cafe actively caters for them: water bowls are provided and the kitchen will bring out a pup cup if you ask. The seating area is spacious, so there is room to settle a dog beside the table without blocking foot traffic. Keep the lead on and expect the usual indoor rule, where seating is for humans only.
