The Blended Collective Cafe

The Blended Collective Cafe in the Cashmere Village Shopping Centre is the local Campos coffee stop for this corner of Moreton Bay, and it is a genuinely easy dog outing: alfresco tables where dogs on lead are welcome, with water typically on hand. It formerly traded as Mio Coffee Spot, so locals may know it under either name.

The dog setup

Dogs sit with you in the outdoor courtyard and alfresco seating, leashed and settled beside the table. Staff are reported to be accommodating, and water bowls are typically available, though it is worth confirming at the counter. It opens at 6am Monday to Saturday and 7am Sunday, closing at 2pm, which suits a pre-work stop or the tail end of an early morning walk.

The menu

The space is casual and green, full of plants, with a breakfast and lunch menu that stretches further than most suburban shops: eggs benny and a famously huge omelette for the breakfast crowd, beetroot-cured salmon bruschetta, bacon and egg burgers and rotating house-made treats. Smoothies and chai lattes rate regular mentions alongside the Campos espresso. Gluten-free, vegetarian, vegan and dairy-free options are marked across the menu, and kids are catered for too.

Getting there and pairing a walk

It sits inside Cashmere Village at shops 7 and 8a, 1 Warra Lane, with free parking in the centre's car park. The Fenrir Cashmere Dog Park is about 1.5km away for an off-lead run before or after coffee, and the larger Cashmere Dog Park at Warner is a few minutes north. For an on-lead bushwalk instead, the Ironbark Gully Loop is close by in Ferny Hills.
