Grindstone Coffee House

Grindstone Coffee House is a friendly local spot on Woongarra St in the centre of Bundaberg, open early and welcoming to dogs at its outdoor tables. It is a practical breakfast or coffee stop if you are walking the dog through the CBD.

The dog setup. Dogs are permitted in the outdoor seating area; the indoor tables are for people only. Staff are welcoming, but there is no dedicated dog water station, so bring your own bowl.

Good to know. It opens early, from around 6:30am until early afternoon, and runs cooked breakfasts, barista coffee, toasties, wraps and homemade treats. Regulars rate the breakfasts and the homemade sweets.

Getting there. It is on Woongarra Street, within easy walking distance of the CBD. Street parking is available directly out front, with more in the nearby side streets.

Nearby with the dogs. The Burnett River walk is a short stroll away for scenic riverside views, and there are several small central parks for a post-coffee leg-stretch.

Get in early for a quiet outdoor table before the breakfast rush. Bring water, and keep the dog on the outdoor side.
