The Crows Nest(Bathurst)

The Crows Nest is a cafe tucked inside Dejorja & Co, a floral and homewares boutique at 37 Keppel Street in central Bathurst. The combination matters for dog owners: instead of a kerbside perch on a busy strip, you get a designated pet-friendly courtyard, a shaded and contained spot to sit with the dog while you work through a coffee and something light.

The dog setup

Dogs are welcome in the courtyard, which is a genuine enclosure rather than footpath tables, so there is less worry about a dog near passing traffic or prams. Ask staff for fresh water when you arrive and bring your own bowl to be safe; the dog-friendly cafes along Keppel Street commonly put bowls out, but it is not something to count on.
