Moubar Vintage

Moubar Vintage is a coffee spot in the Brookemore Centre at 87 Keppel Street, central Bathurst, known for dark-roast blends and homemade treats. For dog owners it works as a relaxed outdoor stop in the middle of town, open six days from early morning.

The dog setup

Dogs are welcome at the outdoor seating, part of the covered Brookemore Centre area, while inside is for assistance animals only. Staff are dog-friendly, but bring your own water bowl since dedicated dog amenities are not confirmed.

Hours run 6:30am to midday Monday to Friday, 7am to midday Saturday, with Sundays closed, so this is strictly a morning coffee rather than a lunch stop.

The vibe

The coffee is the headline, a dark-roast blend with alternatives available, and the cabinet adds a cinnamon-croissant cruffin and toasties. The courtyard setting keeps things casual, and service wraps up early so expect a local morning crowd rather than an all-day flow.

Pepsi: pack a water bowl and get here before the midday close. The courtyard is covered rather than sunny, so it is comfortable even on a cool Bathurst morning, but there is nothing on offer after noon.

Getting there and parking

On-street parking runs along Keppel Street, with public car parks a short walk away. It is central enough to fold into a CBD wander with the dog on the lead.

Make a day of it

Machattie Park is close by for a leashed walk afterwards. For a dedicated run, Kefford St Off-Leash Dog Park is the closest off-leash option, and Oliver Brown and Gunthers Lane Cafe add more dog-friendly tables around town.
