Pyramids Road Wines

Pyramids Road Wines is a small, family-owned boutique winery on Wyberba Lane, close to Ballandean and the entrance to Girraween National Park. It is a low-key cellar door with a genuinely dog-friendly policy, run out of a rustic tasting shed surrounded by bushland.

Nearby with the dogs. Girraween National Park is a few minutes away, but dogs are not permitted on the park's hiking trails under Queensland national park rules, so treat it as a lookout stop rather than a walk. Granite Belt Brewery has a dog-friendly deck nearby, and several other Ballandean-area wineries also welcome dogs outdoors if you want to make a cellar-door day of it.

Weekday afternoons are quietest for a relaxed tasting with a dog in tow. Confirm current dog policy at booking if you're coming with more than one, since it's a small, intimate setup rather than a big function space.
