Stella Bella Wines

Stella Bella Wines is an intimate, award-winning cellar door at 205 Rosa Brook Road, east of Margaret River town, with a genuine welcome for dogs across its outdoor areas. The setting is the draw: refined wines, a grassed picnic area and vineyard surrounds, with the dog settled on the lawn beside you.

The dog setup

Well-behaved dogs on leads are welcome across the outdoor estate grounds, courtyard and grassed picnic areas, and dog water bowls are provided for visiting dogs. Dogs should stay out of the indoor tasting room and are asked not to wander into the vineyard, for their own safety. Keep the lead short near the cellar door entrance, where foot traffic and other visitors gather.

Worth knowing

Stella Bella is known for multiple Decanter trophies for its Cabernet Sauvignon and for high-quality Margaret River Chardonnay, with a Sauvignon Blanc blend and Moscato covering the fresher end of the range. Walk-in stand-up tastings run alongside seated and private sessions, usually redeemable against a bottle purchase. Open daily 10am to 5pm, closed on a few public holidays; weekday afternoons are calmest for a tasting with a dog.

Pepsi: the grassed picnic lawn is the spot. Water bowls are already out, so it is just a matter of picking a shady patch.

Getting there and parking

The cellar door is on Rosa Brook Road, a scenic run east of Margaret River town, with an on-site gravel car park beside the cellar door and easy flat access to the outdoor seating.

While you're out there

Build a loop with other dog-friendly Margaret River stops: the Rotary South Bank river trail is a good town-side leg-stretch, and Walsh and Sons, Xanadu Wines and Cape Mentelle all welcome leashed dogs in their outdoor areas.
