Red Feet Wines

Red Feet Wines is a boutique cellar door on Cemetery Lane in the King Valley, pouring small-batch sangiovese, tempranillo and shiraz with panoramic views across the valley. The relaxed outdoor tasting area is where dogs are genuinely welcome, and that is the reason to point your car here rather than at a bigger producer.

The dog setup

Dogs are welcome in the outdoor spaces around the cellar door and on the lawn, kept on a lead at all times. Indoor areas are off-limits, so plan for an outdoor, scenic tasting. Bring your own water and treats, as there are no dedicated dog amenities on site, and clear up any mess your dog makes.

Max: On-lead means on-lead all the way, including across the lawn between the car and your table. Keep it short near other guests.

The vibe

Small-batch cool-climate wines with an Italian-leaning range, complimentary tastings for groups under ten, and no booking required. The atmosphere is casual and intimate, with sweeping views that reward a slow visit. Best suited to a calm lead-walking dog that will lounge quietly through a tasting; the close outdoor seating is less comfortable for boisterous dogs.

The address is 49 Cemetery Lane, King Valley, VIC 3678, with on-site parking. Watch the hours: the cellar door opens Friday to Sunday, 11am to 5pm, and closes Monday to Thursday. Time your trip for a late morning arrival to claim an outdoor spot before the afternoon crowd.
