What visitors mention
Krinklewood is a certified organic and biodynamic vineyard on Wollombi Road, known for its Provencal-style gardens, a clipped labyrinth and fountains, and French-style biodynamic wines. It is a genuinely dog-friendly cellar door, with dogs allowed in the outdoor courtyard and cellar door area on leash.
Dog access and setup. Dogs are welcome in the cellar door's outdoor courtyard on a leash at all times. It is an open-air setup rather than an indoor tasting room, so it suits dogs happy to settle at your feet while you taste. The estate has a resident Maremma sheepdog named Polare who may come and say hello. She is on a diet, so do not feed her, no matter how good her manners are. Peacocks also roam the grounds freely, which is worth knowing if your dog is prone to chasing birds.
Known for. Krinklewood is one of the Hunter's few certified biodynamic producers, with a focus on French varieties and cheese platters to match. The gardens, labyrinth and fountains make it as much a place to wander as to taste.
Getting there and parking. The cellar door is at 712 Wollombi Road, Broke, with on-site parking. It sits on the scenic Broke-Wollombi road, reachable from either Cessnock or Singleton.

Go on a quiet weekday if you can. The gardens and courtyard are relaxed, but weekends bring more cars and more people for your dog to navigate around the tasting tables. Confirm current hours before driving out, as cellar door opening days can shift seasonally.
