Velvet & Willow is a cellar door, cafe and pantry on the edge of Auburn in the Clare Valley, with a garden setting that makes it an easy stop for dogs on lead while you work through a wine flight or a coffee.

Nearby with the dogs. The Rattler Trail runs from Auburn to Riverton and the Riesling Trail passes close by, both good for an on-lead stretch before or after your visit.

Weekday visits are quieter than weekends, when the cellar door trade picks up. Confirm current opening hours before you drive out, and keep the lead on in the garden.
