Willowdale Park

Willowdale Park anchors the new estate at the corner of Baden Powell and Jamboree Avenues in Denham Court. It is a big, open green space with a loop around it, and dogs walk it on lead.

Lead rules

Campbelltown City Council manages the park. It is a general community park rather than a leash-free area, so dogs stay leashed and under effective control.

The walk

The loop mixes paved shared paths with well-kept compacted dirt. Around it you get wide lawns, birdlife in the trees and a regional adventure playground with flying foxes.

That playground draws families, so expect kids and give the play area a wide berth.

Water and shade

There are shade structures, seats and sheltered huts, plus bins on site and parking at the park. Dog water is limited, so bring a bottle and bowl.

Pepsi: No water bowls here, so pack one. Then find a shelter hut and share a drink after the loop.

Make a day of it

For off-lead play, finish at Dogwood Crescent Fenced Dog Park in Denham Court, or grab a coffee at Leaf Cafe & Co.

Go early on weekends, before the playground fills, and in summer use the shelters for breaks.
