Oddies Creek Park

Oddies Creek Park sits by the Murray River in South Albury, off Wodonga Place. Next to its adventure playspace, AlburyCity has set aside a designated leash-free area for dogs.

Leads and the leash-free area

Dogs can run off lead inside the leash-free area. Outside it, including on the connecting paths, they need to be on a lead.

The walk

Sealed paths link the park with the Wagirra Trail along the river. Mature river red gums stand over open grassy floodplain, with views across the Murray.

It works as a play stop on its own, or as the start of a longer riverside walk.

Max: The leash-free area has edges. Clip on before you head out along the river paths.

Make a day of it

Schubach St. Deli in East Albury is an easy coffee stop, and Alexandra Park Fenced Dog Park offers a fully fenced run.

When to go

The sealed riverside paths suit older dogs, and a stretch of the Wagirra Trail turns a play session into a proper walk. Bring water for the dog in summer.
