Under a canopy of mature eucalypts and paperbarks, Mueller Park is one of Subiaco's greenest corners. For dog owners, the deciding feature is its designated off-lead exercise area.
Lead rules
The City of Subiaco manages the park. Dogs can run off lead inside the signed exercise area.
Outside it, keep your dog on a lead, and stay out of the fenced playground.
The walk
Concrete and asphalt paths wind through wide lawns, much of it shaded by the old trees. There is also a nature-based playground, so expect families around that end.
Pepsi: Those big old trees make great shade. Bring a bowl of water for after the off-lead run.
