Marine Parade Foreshore Walk

The Marine Parade Foreshore Walk follows the Broadwater through Labrador, flat and paved the whole way, with an off-leash pocket at Len Fox Park near Loders Creek. Most of it is an on-lead walk, but that stop is what makes it.

Leads and the off-leash area

City of Gold Coast allows dogs off leash in the signed area around Len Fox Park, where they can play and paddle under effective control. On the paved path and outside the signed zone, the lead stays on.

Dogs are not allowed in the children's playgrounds along the way.

The walk

The shared path runs from Harley Park and Ian Dipple Lagoon toward Loders Creek, past boat ramps and wide water views. Shelters and mature trees shade some sections, but other parts are open and warm in the sun.

Bubblers are near Harley Park and Len Fox Park, and bins are spaced all along Marine Parade.

Getting started

Street parking runs the length of Marine Parade, with car parks at Harley Park and near the Wilson Street boat ramp.

Make a day of it

Stop at Papercup Coffee Labrador or Cruize Espresso for a coffee on the way back.

When to go

Low tide is best for a paddle along the foreshore edges. Go early on hot days, since parts of the path have no cover.
