Bob Pettitt Reserve

Bob Pettitt Reserve on Sunset Strip is Jan Juc's community sports ground, and its paths give you a short, easy lap with the dog. Walk it on lead and keep clear of the playgrounds.

The walk

Sealed and compacted gravel paths circle the oval and link the pavilion, skate park, BMX track and play areas. It is a brief loop, so it works as a warm-up or a quick evening outing.

Lead rules

Keep dogs on lead on the paths, and do not take them into the playground areas near the pavilion. Surf Coast Shire lists the places where dogs can run free, so check before you unclip.

Max: Skaters and BMX riders move fast here. Keep your dog close as you pass the tracks.

Best when the oval and skate park are quiet, and good for a short, easy leg-stretch.
