Goulding Park Shared Path

Goulding Park on Aspire Boulevard is the community hub of Fraser Rise, and its shared path makes an easy paved walk for the daily dog outing. Dogs stay on lead here.

Lead rules

Melton City Council treats all public open space as on-lead unless it is signed as an off-lead area. On shared paths, dogs must be leashed and under effective control.

The walk

The path is paved and passes open grass, a basketball court, play equipment and public art inspired by spires. It ties into the surrounding streets of the estate, so it is easy to stretch the walk from home.

Water and shade

There are drinking fountains and bins around the reserve. Sheltered picnic tables give some cover, but a few seats along the open path have no shade.

Street parking is along Aspire Boulevard and the other residential edges.

Make a day of it

If your dog needs a proper run afterwards, Fraser Rise Fenced Dog Park is the local off-lead option.

Mornings and evenings are the pick in summer, when the open path heats up. The smooth surface suits puppies, older dogs and prams.
