Iverson Circuit Fenced Dog Park

Iverson Circuit Fenced Dog Park in Deanside is a fully fenced, off-leash grass enclosure of roughly 100 by 30 metres in Melbourne's western growth corridor, managed by Melton City Council. Its defining feature is a 13-obstacle agility course, which makes it as much a training space as a run-around park for active local dogs.

The dog setup

The whole enclosure is fenced with double entry gates for safe transitions in and out, and a water tap with a drinking bowl sits at the gate. Inside, the agility course gives dogs 13 separate obstacles to work through, with four benches spaced around the perimeter for owners. Dogs must be under effective voice control at all times with a leash carried, and waste bins are stationed at the entrance, where pickup is expected.

The vibe

The park is geared toward activity rather than lounging, and it tends to be relatively quiet, drawing residents of Deanside, Rockbank and Caroline Springs. Shade is limited, with unshaded benches and little tree cover, so early mornings and evenings are the comfortable sessions in summer. It is a good space for recall work and obstacle training without the crowds of bigger regional dog parks.

Getting there and parking

The park sits on Iverson Circuit in the new estates off Taylors Road, north of Caroline Springs. Street parking is available along Iverson Circuit, and there is no direct public transport, so driving is the practical option.
