University of Canberra Campus Paths

The University of Canberra campus in Bruce is laced with paved walkways between buildings, ovals and landscaped native gardens. The university allows dogs on the grounds, on lead at all times.

The walk

Concrete and bitumen paths connect the teaching buildings, sports ovals and student villages. There is no signed loop, so make your own circuit and watch for the local birdlife.

Parking is in the campus car parks. Bring water for the dog.

Lead rules

The university asks that pets stay leashed across campus, both for wildlife and for walkers on busy footpaths. Clean up after your dog.

Make a day of it

Head into Belconnen for a coffee at Cafe Birrigai or a drink at the Lighthouse Pub.
