Bicentennial Park Pymble Loop

Bicentennial Park in West Pymble, between Lofberg Road and Yanko Road, loops its walking and cycling tracks past ovals, an aquatic centre and pockets of remnant bushland. Dogs walk on lead, and there is a fenced off-lead area inside the park.

Leads and the off-lead area

Ku-ring-gai Council allows dogs on lead on the tracks and general park grounds. Off-lead play is only inside the designated fenced dog area.

The walk

The loop follows sealed asphalt paths shared by walkers and cyclists, with grass either side. You pass sports ovals, playgrounds and the aquatic and fitness centre, with patches of bushland in between.

Max: Cyclists use these tracks too. Keep your dog on your side of the path and the lead short near the playgrounds.

Who it suits

A dog that likes a steady on-lead loop followed by a run in the fenced area. Bring water for the dog, especially on warm days.
