That means the pet policy is set per listing: you must declare the number of pets when booking, and pet fees vary by villa, with a fee of around $95 cited on some Stayz listings. Small dogs are the usual fit for the designated units. Confirm the fee, any size limit and the exact rules with the booking agent for the villa you are looking at before you pay.

This is a working property shared with other guests and the cellar door's own visitors, so the feel is more country estate than resort. It suits couples or small families touring the wine region with a calm, lead-savvy dog.

Getting there and parking

The estate is on the Commonage Road side of Yallingup, roughly ten minutes' drive from Dunsborough and a short hop from the caves road winery strip. Each villa has its own off-street parking, so unloading dogs and luggage is easy. Yallingup Beach and its dog exercise areas are within a few minutes' drive.

House of Cards Wine welcomes dogs at the cellar door, Hay Shed Hill Wines in Wilyabrup is another lead-friendly stop, and the stretch of Yallingup Beach north of the main lagoon has long been used as a local dog exercise area, with boundaries signed seasonally by the City of Busselton.
