Getting there and parking

Allow roughly 90 minutes by road from Darwin via the Stuart Highway and Peninsula Way. Alternatively, the Sealink NT ferry runs about 15 minutes from Cullen Bay to Mandorah Jetty, followed by roughly 20 minutes by car or bike to the property. Parking is free and on site, which matters if you bring the car over on the ferry route via Berry Springs instead.

Worth knowing

Wagait Beach is a small, quiet settlement rather than a resort strip, so bring supplies with you. The trade-off is a genuinely quiet beach stretch that sees very little traffic, ideal for leashed walks at dawn and dusk in the Dry season.
