S Bend Caravan Park

S Bend Caravan Park sits on Brand Highway in South Greenough, about 20 minutes south of Geraldton, and doubles as a roadhouse stop and a genuine dog-friendly base for a fishing trip. Large grassed sites and an easy highway pull-in make it a relaxed overnight or longer stay with the dog along for the ride.

Dogs at the park

Dogs are welcome on the caravan and camping sites and must be kept on a lead at all times within the park. Owners are expected to clean up after their dogs and use the bins provided. Pets are generally not permitted inside the communal amenities block or reception, and if you are booking an on-site van rather than bringing your own rig, confirm pet approval directly with the park first, as van policies can differ from site policies.

Getting there and nearby

The park is directly on Brand Highway, so access is straightforward from either direction. Greenough beach is a short drive away and good for a walk, though check City of Greater Geraldton signage for on-leash rules before letting the lead out. The historic Central Greenough settlement is close by for a quick side trip, and Geraldton itself is about 20 minutes north for cafes and vet services.

Close by with the dogs

Keep a run north in reserve if the park is full: Geraldton Caravan Park is the city fallback, and Central Greenough Cafe makes an easy coffee stop beside the historic precinct. In Geraldton itself, Remi French Cafe is worth the detour before the highway.
