For a proper leg-stretch, Thompsons Park by the river is an off-leash run and the fenced Latrobe Fenced Dog Park is close by. Shadows Cafe on Gilbert Street is the coffee stop in town, and Sherwood River Camp is the alternative if you want a river camp rather than a town stopover.
