While you're out there
For a fenced alternative to the time-restricted foreshore, Wilsonson Heights Dog Park is across town in Newtown, and the on-lead Barwon River trail makes a longer day walk. Coffee-wise, Baba Yaga Coffee House and The Paddock Bakery in North Geelong are the closest good stops to the park.
