While you're out there

The off-lead stretch is Pottsville Dog Beach, running from 200 metres south of the main patrolled bathing area toward Black Rocks under Tweed Shire Council rules: leash in hand, effective voice control, and clean up after your dog. One trap worth knowing: dogs are prohibited around Ambrose Brown Park and the Mooball Creek foreshore to protect shorebirds, so give that pocket a miss despite how close it looks on the map.
