This is a floodplain camp, so it is self-contained by design: 24-hour toilets are provided but there are no showers. Unpowered sites need no booking, just pick a spot and register at an information hut; powered sites are limited and must be booked online. A large RV-accessible dump point sits 2km away at the St Leonards Picnic Grounds. Arrival is turn left, choose your site, pay at the hut.

The St Leonards Picnic Ground Fenced Dog Park is at the same picnic grounds as the dump point, so you can empty the tanks and give the dog a fenced run in one stop. In town, Hoblers Bridge Reserve Fenced Dog Park sits on the North Esk River and Clove Cafe is the Newstead coffee stop.
