Frauenfelder Cottage

Frauenfelder Cottage is one of Albury's oldest houses, a stone cottage dating to 1857 set well back from David Street in North Albury, and it is a genuinely dog-friendly stay rather than a dog-tolerant one: the stated policy is that pets are welcome to do here what they do at home, so inside is fine.

The detail that seals it for most dog owners is the large, fully enclosed garden: your dog gets proper off-lead time in secure surroundings rather than a motel carpark toileting run. If you are travelling with more than one or two dogs, ask first.

The cottage is fully self-contained with a large main bedroom, a smaller second bedroom or sunroom, a lounge, a dining room and a bathroom, sleeping up to four guests.
