BIG4 Maroochy River

BIG4 Maroochy River is a riverside holiday park on Diura Street, a central Sunshine Coast base within reach of the Maroochy River, Sunshine Plaza and the beaches. Dogs are welcome, but only on powered sites and only outside school-holiday periods, so the timing of your stay matters as much as the booking itself.

The place. It is a well-kept family park right on the river, with a swimming pool, jumping pillow and putt-putt golf. Doggy bags are available at reception, and the riverside setting gives you walking and water close at hand.

Location and nearby. The park sits at 1 Diura Street near the Sunshine Motorway and Sunshine Plaza, with flat, easy access for caravans and motorhomes. The Maroochy River foreshore pathways alongside the park are excellent for walks, and Cotton Tree and central Maroochydore add plenty of cafes with dog-friendly outdoor tables a short drive away.

Before you book. Ring ahead to lock in a powered pet site, check your dates fall outside the school-holiday window, and bring proof of council registration. Best suited to caravan, motorhome or tent travellers rather than anyone wanting a cabin.
