Getting there and the beach rules

Dogs are prohibited south of the surf club and around the sensitive Lake Ainsworth environs, and the Lennox Point headland is on lead at all times. The Lennox Head dog beach is the easy access point to aim for.

Between swims, the village holds plenty of dog-friendly footpath dining. The Point Cafe works for breakfast, and the Lennox Head boardwalk gives an on-lead stretch along the lake edge for the hours when the beach is off limits.
