Jarrah Glen Cabins is a 100-acre rural retreat on Rodda Road in Jalbarragup, just south of Nannup, offering rustic-modern self-contained cabins with a dam outlook and genuine bushland on the doorstep. Two dogs of any size are welcome, which makes it one of the more generous stays in the area.

Whicher and Milyeannup National Parks are within reach too, though it's worth checking current park rules on dogs before you head in. Nannup town is about a 10-minute drive for dog-friendly cafes when you want a coffee run.

Who it suits. Two-dog households and anyone after a proper rural break with real walking room, less suited to dogs that need constant supervision-free freedom given the open, working nature of the property.

When to go. Shoulder seasons keep the walking trails and swimming holes comfortable without summer heat. Book early for weekends, cabins here fill quickly, and confirm your cabin choice avoids Stargazer if you're travelling with a dog.
