Blue Ginger Fine Foods

Blue Ginger Fine Foods is a cafe and deli on Station Road, just off the Margaret River main strip, and it might be the most dog populated coffee stop in town. It opens 8am to 2:30pm weekdays and to 2pm Saturdays, closing Sundays, and between the courtyard tables, the footpath seats and the deli shelves out back, it doubles as a pantry run.

The dog setup

Dogs are welcome in the outdoor seating, the courtyard and the footpath tables, with indoors off limits for food safety. This is a genuinely social dog spot: water bowls are usually out on the patio, staff offer a pat and the occasional treat, and there is a fair chance another dog is at the next table. Keep the lead short through the deli doorway traffic.

Worth knowing

The kitchen covers nearly every dietary flag, with vegetarian, vegan, gluten free and paleo options alongside house made sausage rolls, a respected reuben sandwich and a locally famous Thursday BLT deal. Tuesday, Friday and Saturday mornings are the busiest windows, so an early arrival is worth it for a courtyard table and easier parking on those days.

Getting there and parking

It sits at 7/31 Station Road, a short walk from the town centre. Free street parking around Station Road fills at peak morning times, but side street options are close, and walking in from the main strip takes minutes.

Close by with the dogs

For off lead time, Brookfield Dog Park is the local fenced run, while the Wadandi Track north towards Cowaramup makes a long flat leashed walk.
