Daylesford Holiday Park by Tiny Away

Daylesford Holiday Park by Tiny Away, now trading as Tiny Away Escape at Daylesford Springs, sits within walking distance of the lake and the town centre, with glamping tents, cabins and powered sites under gum trees. Dogs are genuinely catered for here, but only in the right unit type, so the booking choice matters more than at most parks.

Dogs at the park

Two options take dogs. On sites, friendly dogs are welcome year round on the caravan, camper and camping sites. Under a roof, the park runs designated pet-friendly studio cabins, the Bark Royal units, where the dog is allowed to sleep inside with you. Everywhere else on the grounds dogs stay on a lead and cannot be left unattended. A cleaning fee, reported around $200, applies if a dog is found in a non-designated cabin, so book the Bark Royal by name or a site rather than gambling on any unit. Confirm fees and pet terms directly at booking.

The vibe

It is a tidy, compact park rather than a big resort: clean amenity blocks, a camp kitchen, a coffee van in the mornings, and reviewers regularly mention the easy walk to both the lake and town. The position near the local sporting grounds also buys you open space for leg-stretch walks without driving.

Getting there and parking

The park sits on the town side of Daylesford, close enough to walk to the main street restaurants and the Lake Daylesford circuit while leaving the car on your site.

Close by with the dogs

The on-leash Tipperary Springs circuit starts from the lake side of town and follows the Loddon River through bushland. For lunch, The Farmers Arms takes dogs in its courtyard, and Jubilee Lake Holiday Park is the other pet-friendly park option on this side of town.
