Getting there and parking

Bullengarook sits between Bacchus Marsh and Gisborne off the Bacchus Marsh Road, about an hour from Melbourne. There is free on-site parking at the door, and Gisborne, about 10 minutes away, is the nearest shops and supplies run.

While you're out there

The Bullengarook Recreation Reserve on Bacchus Marsh Road has a designated dog off-leash area covering the main oval, on-lead when pony club or sporting events are running. Hanging Rock Reserve is on-lead only on its picnic lawns and East Paddock, with dogs banned from the rock itself.
