Blacksmiths Beach House

Blacksmiths Beach House is a four-bedroom holiday home in Blacksmiths on the NSW Central Coast, a street or two back from the beach, and it takes dogs of any size for the whole house rather than a token pet-friendly room. The beach out front

Blacksmiths Beach forms part of Nine Mile Beach, and the section near the house is leash-free around the clock. Lake Macquarie City Council's off-leash zone runs from the beach car park off Awabakal Avenue south to the Belmont Golf Club boundary, so you can walk straight from the front door to a legal off-leash splash in the surf. Bring your own waste bags and keep your dog inside the marked boundaries.

Blacksmiths sits between Swansea and Caves Beach on the Swansea peninsula, roughly 30 minutes from Newcastle. Off-street parking at the house means you can unload kids, dogs and beach gear without circling for a spot.
