Location and nearby. The campground is off Tinaroo Falls Dam Road, with Lake Tinaroo itself right at the doorstep for a swim or a paddle with the dog. Yungaburra is a short drive away and has some dog-friendly outdoor seating at local cafes, plus the Curtain Fig Tree walk. Lake Barrine, a separate crater lake nearby, allows leashed dogs on some tracks, though national park sections nearby may restrict access, so check signage before heading in.

Who it suits. Good for owners after a low-key, scenic waterfront camp rather than a resort stay, and for dogs happy to be leash-walked rather than let off around the site.
